Lyreco offers a vast range of label printer for those who need to produce their own label. There are various models with different features and proprieties and we do understand that it can be confusing. You can find below a quick guide to help you to choose the one you need.
The first criteria to choose your label printer is the number of label you need every day. If you print occasionally labels to stick them on your envelope, you should get a small labelling machine. Just make sure you do not over use it, otherwise repairing it would be more expensive than purchasing a new one. If you make a bigger use of it (more than 20 a day), you should go for a heavy-duty printer.
All label printer can print almost all length but you need to consider the width of your label. The labelling machine can only print the width of its print head. The 4 inches standard size will cover 90% of the needs.
Not all printers have the same resolution. If you print your logo on your label, you will need a higher resolution for your label printer.
In the view of what you are going to print, you will need either a black and white label printer or a multi-color labelling machine. Make sure you understand your needs correctly, as a multi-color model is more expensive. Do not forget to purchase your laminated tape to complete your order.
If you consider that you can do the work manually and that a label printer is not necessary, you can find normal label on our website too.
