Lyreco Code of Ethics
Our Code of Ethics is an expression of who we are and how we do business at Lyreco. It applies in all our activities, wherever we operate, at any time.
It relies on 4 guiding principles: our people, our business integrity, our products & assets and our societal engagement.
Our people
At Lyreco, we strive to promote an ethical People & Culture policy, providing a healthy and safe environment fostering Respect as a key value among all our practices.
Our business integrity
Beyond compliance with applicable laws and regulations, we put business integrity at the heart of the principles we share with our business partners and employees, applying zero tolerance to any form of corruption, fraud, conflict of interest, influence peddling..
We also apply the highest ethical standards to the relationships our people build with our stakeholders to ensure trustful relationships based on mutual respect for integrity.
Suppliers code of ethics
Our Suppliers Code of Ethics states the requirements our suppliers must comply with in terms of ethics and professional behavior when working with Lyreco. We expect our suppliers to:
- Respect the same ethical requirements and conduct their activities in accordance with this Suppliers Code of Ethics
- Implement the policies and procedures necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations
Ensure that these commitments are followed up with all their partners.
Our products and assets
At Lyreco, we ensure that all the products we deliver to our customers meet the highest standards in terms of quality, safety and environment.
We work exclusively with business partners sharing the same ambitions for product excellence.
Our societal engagement
Protecting and caring for others and the environment is key at Lyreco. We foster sustainable and responsible corporate behaviour, encouraging others to do the same.
We strive to contribute to the solution of societal challenges through our CSR approach, by raising our people and business partners' awareness of more responsible practices, offering our customers sustainable products and solutions, and continuously improving our operational processes.
We aim to prevent and detect any ethical breach so that we can take the appropriate measures, remedy the situation, and ensure that the behaviours and actions are fully consistent with our values.
Our Raise your concern tool provides our people and external partners the opportunity to discuss, ask for advice, raise questions, share their concerns, and report any actual or potential ethical breach.
Lyreco ethics and compliance governance
To ensure better alertness, consistency and efficiency in all ethics and compliance matters, Lyreco has decided to strengthen and harmonize a unique ethics and compliance vision. It leads to the creation of the Group Ethics and Compliance Committee, the nomination of a Group Compliance officer and dedicated Ethics Referents in all Lyreco subsidiaries.

Lyreco is compliant with the latest Ethical legal requirements i.e.

- Germany Supply Chain Act
Factories producing own branded products have to be yearly audited on Social & Environmental aspects. In line with worldwide standards, we comply with:
- BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)
- SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange)
- ISO 14001 (Environment Management System)

All Lyreco countries are certified:
- ISO 9001: Quality Management
- ISO 14001: Environment Management
Additional ISO certifications apply, depending on the country:
- ISO 45001: Health & Safety Management
