Specialised chemical protection gloves are the right choice when your processes require targeted hand protection against clearly defined hazardous substances. Unlike general-purpose models, these systems focus on providing a certified barrier against specific groups of substances, such as corrosive acids, alkalis or hydrocarbons. These specialised gloves ensure uncompromising occupational safety in demanding chemical and industrial applications.
You can easily order your precisely fitted hazardous substance gloves online via our webshop:

Question: How can I tell if a specialised glove is resistant to a particular chemical?
Answer: The key is the labelling in accordance with the EN 374 standard. Beneath the chemical protection pictogram, there is a multi-character alphabetic code. Each letter stands for a precisely defined test chemical against which the glove has passed a specified permeation time (breakthrough time) in the laboratory. If there are additional mechanical risks, you should also check the values in accordance with EN 388.
