In some cases writing by hand is still faster, especially if you are writing a lot of special symbols, doing special formatting, and even drawing, at the same time. To achieve a specially formatted document in a word processor takes some time. But, writing takes a lot of energy, and a regular copybook is not suitable for a high-range of tasks, like writing a lecture in a school. For a high range of purposes in an office or an industrial object, Lyreco designed this A4+ notebook. At first, it has a special binding. It allows writing on the page, all the way, without bending, and then just flip it over. There is no need for bending each page and pressing a copybook, you'll always have a nice, flat surface to write on.
Each page comes as slightly wider than a regular A4 sheet. It has a perforation, which helps to tear it off. If you do it, you get a perfectly sized A4 sheet — no need for scissors. The additional advantage is a 70gsm density of the paper. It helps to write better, and even do calligraphy with a fountain pen. Ink won't get bleed through to another side, and pages won't easily bend.
