Degradable? Indeed.

Lyreco is careful with its packages. For this reason we can do without filling material. However, if you want to send something via third party providers, you may not be able to count on the same care. In such cases, filling material protects the goods to be shipped. But what do you do with the filling material after you have unpacked the goods?

Flopack has also thought about this and the result is the Bio-Chips. These are biodegradable and can therefore simply be added to the (industrial) compost. Of course, this is only possible if the recipient does not have any other items to send - in which case these chips can simply be reused.

Natural raw materials were also used in the production of these chips. They contain water, air and starch, which is obtained from vegetables and is GMO-free. These chips have been certified by Din Certco according to EN13432 and they can also be used for automatic feeding systems. The colour is achieved with food colouring.
