Product description

Backtracking? In this case yes

There are circumstances where withdrawal is the smart option. In a dispute built on a misunderstanding, for example, backing down can be better than constantly throwing arguments back and forth. In military actions, too, a withdrawal is sometimes better because the negative consequences can outweigh the positive ones.

With the Scunorm Smartcut cutter from Martor, retracting is also a very smart feature. The blade automatically retracts after the job is done, minimising the risk of injury. This also protects the blade from unnecessary wear and tear when cutting materials such as cardboard (up to two-ply), string or a variety of foils and tapes.

This small, lightweight cutter knife has been ergonomically designed. The blade is well protected against wear and tear (of the knife) as well as injury (of the user), but can be advanced on both sides thanks to the slide. This makes this knife easy to use for both right and left-handed users. An eyelet lets you attach a lanyard to the knife.

Only make a retraction where it makes sense!
