Atlas CL 490 S2 low safety shoes guarantee optimum foot protection and great wearing comfort


Good quality S2 safety shoes from Atlas, are indispensable to get you through a busy work day without painful feet. Their well contoured footbed gives you plenty of support and their sole is secure and robust. Efficient foot protection goes hand in hand with optimal comfort.

  • With an outsole of MPU Innoflex, this safety shoe has a solid structure, provides good foot support and is pleasant to wear.
When safety shoes carry the SRC rating, this means they have been tested for a good slip-resistance on a ceramic tile underground wetted with a dilute soap solution and on a steel surface made slippery with glycerol. This slip resistance level guarantees a sturdy and reliable grip.

This S2 safety shoe is equipped with an aluminium toecap. It is lightweight, non-corrosive and fully protective. Your toes will not get injured, not even when a weight up to 1.500 kg rests on them. Or when they endure a heavy impact caused by for instance a weight up to 20 kg falling on them from a meter heigh.

If you often work in damp or wet environments, it is important to keep your feet dry. Therefore this S2 safety shoe has a Water Repellent Upper (WRU). A waterproof membrane makes the footwear resistant to water.

Avoid damage to sensitive electronic components or devices by wearing safety shoes that comply with the EN 6134-5-1 standard. If no electrostatic charge can be build up, there is also no discharge possible.
