S’wheat
With a mission to reduce the world’s plastic bottle pollution, couple Amee Ritchie and Jake-Elliott Hook have spent the last four years growing their microbusiness S’wheat, the first reusable water bottle made from plants.
Meet the people behind the business
Having started the business in the final years of his degree, Jake would regularly see classmates with new reusable water bottles complaining about the metallic taste, how easily they would break and how hard they were to clean.
Now, together the couple has created an award-winning water bottle that truly fulfils its purpose as ‘reusable’, one that is sustainable and beats the functionality of many other water bottles on the market.
Why Choose S’wheat
Made purely from Wheat stalks and Bamboo, the Scotland-based microbusiness only uses waste by-products in the UK that would have otherwise been burnt.
For every bottle purchased, S’wheat will also plant a trackable native tree in your business’s name while removing 450 ocean-bound plastics from our seas.
Your trackable tree will tell you the species, where it has been planted, as well as other interesting facts about its positive impact. The bottles also come with an impact report which showcases exactly how many trees your specific order planted, ocean-bound plastic it removed, and carbon emissions you’ve offset.
Their co-branding services mean businesses have the option to customise their bottles with a branded coloured bottle, packaging, or logo.
*Minimums apply – Printed & logo engraving min 50 units, custom colour min 1,000 units*
