This product is defined by a qualified cosmetics chemist as ‘non-hazardous’ and readily biodegradable under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Our surfactants comply with the biodegradability criteria as laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents and UK Regulation: SI 2020 No. 1617 ""The Detergents (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 and do not bioaccumulate. No toxicological end-points have been identified and the product does not contain potential to cause acute or chronic toxicity towards the aquatic habitat with the critical dilution volume of ingredients/product is in compliance with OECD guidelines.
Amplify Goods liquid products should be used with water as described in the SDS. The lather and physical motion will detach the bacteria from the surface and remove grease. The bacteria will be washed down the drain and will be removed from the waste water by the water treatment system. While it is possible to clean with cold water, warm water will ensure that the soap or detergent lathers up properly. It is important that the soap lathers so it can be more effective at removing the bacteria. Hands should then be dried well, ideally using sustainably sourced paper towels.
Ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) (and) Glycereth-2 Cocoate (and) Glycol Distearate), Lactic Acid, Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, Citrus sinensis, Rosmarinus officinalis, Limonene.
Everything has a good and useful reason: This product does not use: SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), animal derived products (including lanolin), synthetic dyes, synthetic perfumes, phthalates, phosphates, phosphonates, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), cocamide DEA, triclosan, parabens, formaldehyde, Alkylphenols and their ethoxylates (APEs), or sodium benzoate and other harsh preservatives. We are proudly vegan and we won’t work with any ingredient that is tested on animals.
Amplify Goods products are not accredited under BSEN1276 but do use lactic acid as a natural preservative system which is also an antibacterial agent and will kill some bacteria. Our daily range is more appropriate for everyday use, leaving the stronger chemicals for the hospitals where they are vital.
