Lyreco Goodness has become the change in culture being led at Lyreco, where trust, honest communication, doing the right thing and how we interact with each other is critical to us as a business in order to grow successfully. The term Lyreco Goodness is the umbrella programme to capture this agenda and drive how we communicate our strategy internally and externally.
At Lyreco driving change and working on key areas of Environmental, Social and Progressive Governance (ESG) is led by a dedicated number of colleagues, with all employees having the responsibility to support our strategy. Lyreco Goodness is not about hitting targets or being legally compliant, it’s the ‘extra mile’ achievements made by all within the Lyreco community.
We’re committed to minimising our environmental impact and contributing to the circular economy, along with key objectives you’ll see below.
Across our people, our partners, our community, and through our actions, our spirit of Lyreco Goodness is helping drive us to create a better tomorrow for everyone.
Introducing the Lyreco Goodness Report 2024
More than words, the report reflects our holistic integration of our three pillars (Planet, People, and Progress) into our business strategies and culture, guiding specific objectives for Lyreco UK and Ireland. With People at the Heart, Planet in Focus, and Progress as a Priority, read our report to find out how we are shaping a sustainable future.
We are committed to minimising our global environmental footprint. This pillar reflects our dedication to sustainability through various initiatives. We actively engage with our suppliers, ensuring responsible and ethical practices throughout our supply chain. Transparency is key, and we strive to provide clarity regarding the environmental impact of our products. From sustainable sourcing to promoting a circular economy, we are working towards a future where our products contribute positively to the planet's well-being.
We value our greatest asset – our people. In the realm of diversity and inclusion, we believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels heard and valued. Our employees are the heart of Lyreco, and we are committed to ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace. Beyond our walls, we extend our social responsibility through partnerships with charities and social value organisations. We believe in making a positive impact on the communities we serve, actively participating in initiatives that bring about meaningful change.
Progress at Lyreco isn't just about business growth; it's about supporting and uplifting communities. This pillar highlights our Goodness Support Programs, specifically designed to aid micro-businesses and social enterprises. We take pride in our industry-pioneering webinars, sharing knowledge and expertise that contribute to collective growth. Through "Community in Practice" programs, we go beyond words, implementing tangible strategies that benefit both businesses and the communities they operate in. At Lyreco, progress is a journey we take together with those we serve.
