Sustainability: how we assess our suppliers
Sustainability is a major criterion in the Lyreco Supplier Performance evaluation. 100% of our suppliers have been evaluated. Based on the results of these evaluation tools, the ambition is to build an annual individual improvement action plan.

A new Climate Policy in 2020
In 2020, Lyreco defines its new Climate Policy, setting new CO2 reduction targets based on the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) methodology. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a joined initiative by CDP, the UN Global Compact, the World Resources Institute and WWF.

Lyreco new packaging policy
Through the Lyreco Circular Economy pledge, we commit to reducing packaging use and ban non-recyclable plastic packaging for any product by 2025. Our Responsible Packaging Policy defines the actions to be developed across the whole organization and activities and in all subsidiaries to reach these goal.

Lyreco endorses the New York Declaration on Forests
In September 2019, in the framework of the 2019 United Nations Climate Summit, Lyreco Group strengthened its commitment to fight against deforestation and Climate change by signing the New York Declaration on Forests.
The New York Declaration on Forests is a partnership of governments, multinational companies, indigenous peoples and NGOs who strive to halve deforestation by 2020 and to end it by 2030.

Lyreco new logistics centre in Thailand
To support the increasing demand for fast delivery of office and workplace supplies from our Thai customers, Lyreco Thailand built a new National Distribution Centre in Bangplee, near Bangkok. The logistic centre has been operational since May 2020.
