Digital Ecommerce Analyst
Telford
Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm.

As a Digital Ecommerce Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online sales strategies and customer engagement through data-driven insights. You will report directly to the Digital Trade Manager, focusing on analysing customer behaviour, market trends, and digital campaign performance. Your primary goal will be to optimise our ecommerce platform, ensuring a seamless customer journey and effectively converting prospects into loyal customers.
You will need to have a deep understanding of ecommerce analytics, digital marketing strategies, and customer data analysis. You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to boost online sales, improve customer experience, and drive sustainable business growth.
You will work as part of a tight-knit and highly productive team with a passion to achieve the targets set out across our department and the wider business.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Collaborating with the Digital Trading Manger to analyse data from our ecommerce platform, identifying trends, customer behaviours, and opportunities for growth.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the online customer journey, increase conversion rates, and foster customer loyalty.
- Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ecommerce activities, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Working closely with digital marketing and customer insight teams to ensure alignment of ecommerce strategies with broader marketing initiatives, driven by robust data analysis.
- Regularly analysing and reporting on the performance of ecommerce campaigns, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement.
- Responsible for the ongoing analysis & actions required to improve Search-Engine acquisition (SMB, MM & Corp).
- Responsible for the detailed reporting and sharing of customer behaviour and trends (browsing / bounce / abandoned basket / etc).

Role specific:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, or a related field with a strong preference for candidates with proven experience in ecommerce analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present data-driven insights and strategies.
- High level of understanding with Google Analytics and creating reports
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, aligning efforts with various stakeholders to achieve ecommerce objectives.
- Proficiency in using digital analytics tools, CRM systems, and ecommerce platforms to gather and analyse data.
- A passion for digital marketing and ecommerce, with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field.
