Lyreco Publishes 2024 Sustainability Report: A New Milestone on the Road to CSRD

As one of Europe’s leading workplace solutions providers, Lyreco has long embraced sustainability as a core part of its mission. But 2024 brought something new: a year of complexity, rapid change, and growing expectations from the world and from within. In response, Lyreco leaned into a mindset of resilience and steady progress. The message is simple but powerful: keep making progress and don’t stop.

This year’s report stands out not only for its content, but also its structure. Lyreco has restructured the 2024 report in preparation for full alignment with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), a major upcoming European regulation that will reshape how businesses communicate their sustainability impact.

The report now includes a dedicated sustainability statement, aligned with key topics from the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Specifically, it focuses on:

  • E1 – Climate Change

  • S1 – Own Workforce

  • G1 – Business Conduct

Together, these areas reflect Lyreco’s approach to addressing the most material environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts across its 25-country footprint.

For Lyreco, aligning with CSRD isn’t just a legal step, it’s a strategic one. We see this as an opportunity to embed sustainability even more deeply into our business model and decision-making. By adapting early, we ensure that transparency, responsibility, and long-term thinking remain at the heart of everything we do.
